Artistic statement: My practice is centred entirely on the people in the room. It is flexible and responsive and focuses on giving ownership to the dancers; empowering and encouraging confidence.
Using methods from companies and practices such as Amici Dance Theatre Company, Stopgap Dance Company, and Universal Design theory, I work with free, expressive improvisation tasks alongside more structured forms of training. This includes working with a broad, flexible view, to find the most useful way to utilise more traditional ways of working; looking at the wider scope of class structure all the way through to technical exercises.
I really enjoy playing between the lines of sensory experience and dance and use a huge range of props to draw out movement from students.

Step Change Studios Leading contemporary dance and musical theatre inclusive sessions, groups and one-to-one, to various groups, SEND schools and organisations. Also education outreach for the show 'Fairy Tales'. Nov 2017- present.
Inclusive Dance Consultant for the ISTD Working closely with an ISTD teacher to develop inclusive methods to teach the modern syllabus to children with disabilities. Feb 2018- present.
