Yoga

I recently graduated from Sampoorna Yoga, Goa, India with my 200hrs Ashtanga Vinyasa Teaching Certificate.

​

I practise, study and teach Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga. Consolidating my knowledge of the body through the many disciplines and facets that I have experience in, my practice integrates a variety of forms including different asana styles, dance, body conditioning and Pilates.

In my classes we focus on connecting our mind, body and breath in unity, working towards a balance and integration of the self. The morning asana practice strengthens and energises the body, and the evening opens and stretches, targeting the deep connective tissue and regulating the body's flow of energy. I also practice meditation, and its place in my teaching enables students to immerse themselves in the present, leaving the past and future outside of their precious practice time.
